Refund Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and deposits are handled for website design, development, and related services purchased through dennismagige.com. It applies alongside the payment terms described on our Services page and our Terms and Conditions.
Deposits
A 50% deposit is required to book your project start date. This deposit reserves dedicated time on our project schedule. Once your start date has passed and work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable, as it reflects time already reserved and/or work already underway.
If you cancel before your scheduled start date and before any work has begun, contact us at info@dennismagige.com to discuss a refund of your deposit, less any non-recoverable costs already incurred on our end.
Balance and Milestone Payments
The remaining 50% balance is due at launch, before your completed site is published live, and is not refundable once the site has been delivered and published. For projects over $6,000 billed across three milestones, each milestone payment covers work completed up to that stage and is non-refundable once that stage of work has been delivered.
Cancellations Mid-Project
If a project is cancelled after work has started, all completed work is billable. Any deposit or milestone payments already made are applied toward that billable work; if completed work exceeds what's already been paid, a final invoice will be issued for the difference. If completed work is less than what's already been paid, the difference may be refunded at our discretion, based on the specifics of the project.
WordPress Care Subscription
WordPress Care is billed monthly in advance. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial-month refunds are issued for the period already paid.
Migration Audits
The $350 Migration Audit fee is non-refundable once the audit has been completed and delivered, but is fully credited toward the cost of a full Migration & Rescue project if you proceed within a reasonable time after the audit.
How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds are issued back through FastSpring, Inc., our payment processor and merchant of record, using the original payment method where possible (PayPal, card, or bank transfer). Processing times depend on your payment method and financial institution and are generally handled within FastSpring's standard refund timelines.
Requesting a Refund
To request a refund or discuss a cancellation, contact us directly at info@dennismagige.com or 612-440-6556 before contacting FastSpring, so we can review your project status and process the request accordingly.
